Welcome to Soukup Construction

Soukup Construction was founded in 1963. Carl & Marietta Soukup began the business in Scotland, SD and then moved it to Sioux Falls in 1972. Today Soukup Construction has over 60 employees and more than 300 pieces of construction equipment.

The company does most of its work in the southeast quadrant of South Dakota. Soukup Construction does a variety of earthwork activities, including site preparation for small and large buildings, earthwork for highway and urban streets, demolition of buildings, pavements and bridges, environmental cleanup, underground utilities and general hauling.

Soukup Construction also builds and owns various developments. We pride ourselves on working with owners and general contractors to develop a quality, cost-efficient plan that takes a project from the infancy stage through to completion.

Soukup Construction prides itself on its commitment to community involvement and benevolence. We are actively involved with the City of Sioux Falls in infrastructure concerns and growth throughout our city. At the state level, the company is a member of the Associated General Contractors of America and involved on the boards and committees for governmental affairs, public relations, and work force enhancement.
